The winners of the four 2026 UBC Regional Contender events advance to the Contender semifinals set to take place in Monte Carlo prior to the BGWC. All BMAB Masters and Grand Masters from any country may play. Upon the completion of 12 preliminary rounds of seven point matches, the top six players in points, plus two additional players finishing with the lowest average PRs advance to the playoffs. 100% return. All matches will be transcribed, plus 5 matches live streamed per round. Sanctioned BMAB event. Prize distribution subject to field size.
